"That guy is so handsome! It's a shame he has a girlfriend!"
"What's the problem with him having a girlfriend? It's not like you haven't stolen another woman's boyfriend!"
The two envious women walked away.
Cindy, who was in Harley's arms, blushed like a boiled shrimp.
Harley took a half step back to give Cindy some space to relax a bit.
Cindy peeped up at Harley. She tried to get out of his arms. But his body was as solid as a mountain, and she couldn't push him away a bit.
Cindy’s face was already reddened. After several failed attempts to push him away, she felt embarrassed and asked, "What do you want?"
Harley grabbed her hand and asked, "Am I your boyfriend now?"
Cindy blushed even more at his question. Now her cheeks felt like they had been ironed, "You just kissed me. Do you want to forget about it?"
It was obvious that Cindy got shy, but she tried to act as if she was nonchalant.
Looking at her, Harley's eyes got tender. " Aren't you the one who wants to forget the kiss, Cindy?"
Then he tucked her hair back behind her ears and whispered, "I'll pick you up at your house tomorrow in the morning."
At that moment, Cindy just wanted to run away and find a place to calm herself down. She had no idea what Harley was talking about. She just nodded her head repeatedly at whatever he said.
Harley immediately understood that Cindy hadn’t heard what he was saying. He felt helpless, but still, he stepped back and let go of her.
Getting out of his clutch, Cindy immediately darted away, like a bunny.
Cindy ran back to the banquet hall. Seeing the familiar faces, she slowed her pace.
A girl saw Cindy return with a bunch of roses and got curious, "Cindy, where are these roses from?"
Hearing the girl's question, Cindy suddenly remembered that she was holding a bunch of roses. She subconsciously tried to put the roses away, but it was such a big bouquet, and she couldn't hide it.
