Alison suddenly remembered Alexa's words, and she compressed her lips, "How should I work out this problem?"
Luis' IQ was really much higher than hers.
She stared at the problem, listed the conditions, and analyzed it for half an hour, but still, she couldn't figure out the method, while Luis figured it out right after he read the problem.
It was true that the world was divided between geniuses and ordinary people.
Alison knew that she was one of the ordinary people who had to work hard. She collected her thoughts and listened attentively to Luis's explanation.
Probably considering Alison's slowness, Luis spoke much slower this time, and he also taught her the formula which was referred to.
Twenty minutes later, Luis glanced at the last problem and asked Alison, "Can you work out this one?”
Alison blushed and shook her head honestly, "No."
Luis had expected it coming. The last problem was indeed difficult. It took Luis two minutes to work it out.
Luis solved in the easiest method possible, and he told Alison his steps in detail.
Luis’ way of explaining problems was different from Torey's. Torey was more detailed, but his steps were more complicated, so sometimes his method seemed messy.
But Torey was very patient. He would leave enough time for Alison and Alexa to comprehend it.
Luis was different. His method was brief, and he left Alison very little time to think about it, so it was hard for Alison to keep up with him.
Alison was embarrassed to tell Luis that she didn't understand it. She had to figure it out on her own.
Fortunately, Luis's method was concise. After Alison understood his method, she found the problem wasn't that hard.
It wasn't hard if she had Luis's brain.
When Alison was done, Luis leaned over and took the paper. "Let me see."
