Luis looked at Alison opposite. She had hardly raised her head since she sat down, and she only picked up the dish in front of her.
Raising his eyebrows, Luis stretched out his hand and knocked on the table. "Do you dislike me?"
When Alison saw a hand suddenly appear in front of her while eating, she was startled and then heard Luis’s question.
She raised her head in surprise, looked at Luis, and blinked slightly. "No, no."
"No?"
Luis snorted and looked at her with a halfsmile, as he thought she was lying to him.
Alison felt her cheeks burning under his gaze, and she was very embarrassed. She bit her lower lip hesitantly and then said," Don’t you like quietness?"
Actually, she wanted to ask "Don't you dislike talking with others?". But she changed her words after thinking twice.
Luis picked up a piece of beef. "Do you mean that the reason why you dare not talk to me or ask me questions is that I like quietness?"
Alison didn't know what to say, but her expression indicated that she thought so.
Looking at her expression, Luis felt annoyed somehow. "Then you are really smart."
Alison became more embarrassed when she was aware of his inexplicable anger. She bit her fork and did not dare to say anything.
Luis forked several dishes into his mouth and had a bite to eat.
"I am full."
Putting down the fork and knife, he stood up and went upstairs directly.
Alison was left alone in the big dining room. Staring at Luis’s back, Alison couldn’t help biting her fork again.
'Did I say something wrong?'
'But what words are wrong?'
She had been Luis's deskmate for more than a month. Even if Alexa didn’t tell her that Luis was a cold person, she could realize that Luis was indeed colder than other classmates, as he didn't like talking with others.
