Raymond heard a sound from behind. He froze for a moment and turned around. To his surprise, Scarlett did not leave. Instead, she threw her bag to the bus stop sign and then flexed her hands.
"Scarlett?"
The five men stepped closer. Raymond shielded Scarlett and took another step back, frowning in disbelief.
Scarlett gave him a look. "Don't worry. I am just warming up. I haven't practiced wrestling for a long time."
Just as she finished her words, those men swung their bats at them. Raymond said nervously, "Watch out!"
He wanted to pull Scarlett away, but he found that Scarlett lifted her leg and kicked a man to the ground.
When Raymond was stunned, he heard the whistle of a bat. He reacted quickly and tilted his head to avoid the attack of the man in front of him. He grabbed the bat with the other hand and pulled it hard. The man was off balance and fell to his side. Raymond raised his leg immediately and kicked the man on the ground.
There were five men in total. Three fought against Raymond and the other two fought against Scarlett.
Raymond got ready for a hand-to-hand fight. He swung punches with more force than he did in the training ground. Besides, he had been working out and practicing boxing for years, so every punch made the three men with fancy but impractical skills fall down and howl in pain.
After defeating the three men in front of him, he was going to help Scarlett. But he happened to see a man who had just gotten up from the ground holding a baseball bat and trying to attack Scarlett. Raymond cried, "Watch out!"
The moment he cried, Scarlett leaned forward to avoid the attack on the left. She quickly took the chance to hold the baseball bat and yank. She then stood straight and elbowed the men in the back fiercely.
Next, she raised her foot to kick hard the man in the crooks of his legs. The man knelt on the ground.
Scarlett wore an overcoat, so it was not convenient for her to spread her arms and legs. But she still managed to neatly kick the two men to the ground.
