Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 222

Scarlett finished most of the novel by noon. While feeling like her eyes were tired, she happened to see Reilly walk in with her lunch.

She looked up at Reilly and said, "Ms. Cobb, how is it going, the thing we talked about this morning?"

Ms. Cobb told the security guard to drive them away a s Scarlett had requested. "I have told the security guard to pay attention, not allowing them to show up i n the company," replied she.

Scarlett smiled, "You cannot stop them if they insist o n coming."

More than 20 years had passed, but Scarlett still remembered clearly how unreasonable and overbearing Kyleigh was.

Since she hadn't seen them for more than 20 years, their sudden arrival must for getting something.

Thinking over, she grabbed her phone and called Katherine.

Katherine had expected it would be something related to Nylah. Since Nylah had lost her patron, Scarlett didn't have to fix Nylah by herself because Nylah was going to suffer a lot from the people she used to offend.

Katherine heard that Nylah was quite close to a

famous film director these days because she wanted t o play in the 'Divine Doctrine' as the lead actress.

As a professional secretary, Katherine paid close attention to Nylah just in case Scarlett would ask her about it someday.

But she guessed wrong. Scarlett was calling not for Nylah.

"Your grandma?"

She had been working with Scarlett for 6 or 7 years, but it was the first time knowing that Scarlett still got a family member.

Scarlett probably knew what they came here for since it was the first time for her grandma to contact her after so many years.

If it were not her useless uncle who might get into trouble, her grandma probably would never come to her, a money-losing commodity in her grandma's eyes.

Scarlett seldom came back to Chatbury City, except for Tomb-Sweeping Day after her parents' accident, but she didn't spend the night here and just took the flight back on the same day, so most people hadn't heard about her.

Her grandma actually knew she was here. It seemed that she had underestimated her grandma.

She made a derisive laugh and raised her eyebrows, then put aside the novel before her.

It was terrible, and the plot didn't have any logic. It was said that several companies tried to get the copyright.

Fantastic. I am out.
