Scarlett didn't eat much. She was almost roasting the meat all the time.
Alexis and Alexander were chatting while eating. Scarlett sat on the side roasting the meat and watching. It was fun.
After the meal, Alexander paid the bill and asked Scarlett if she was free this afternoon. He wanted to play cards with her.
Scarlett dried her hands, smiling slightly at him. "Do you think I'll show mercy to you again?"
Alexander lost more than 30,000 dollars to her in an hour last time. She didn’t seem to have shown mercy t o him.
Yet Alexander could afford it. "Huh, come on."
Scarlett's smile faded. "I'm busy. We're leaving."
She looked at Alexis. "Let's go."
Alexis was lost in thought and did a double-take. "Oh, okay."
Scarlett went away. Alexander still wanted to say something but finally didn't.
Looking at Scarlett's receding figure, Alexander couldn't help frowning. "Are you going to give up?"
Raymond coughed softly and looked askance at Alexander. "Stop doing stupid things."
"Hey, Raymond, isn't that too much? I found you were sad these days, so I helped you see Scarlett, who can cheer you up. Now you say I'm doing stupid things."
Raymond lowered his eyes. "She doesn't like it."
Since she didn't like it, he wouldn't do it again.
Alexander had wanted to blow up at him, but he suddenly cooled down. Raymond was a poor man.
Alexander said honestly, "I think Scarlett won't come back to you. Why don't you let her go as she wishes?"
