Scarlett drove back to the villa after coming out of the hotel. She had just parked the car in the garage when the doorbell rang.
Scarlett walked out of the garage, raising her eyebrows slightly. She wondered who came to her at this hour.
The monitor was upstairs. Scarlett didn't bother to go up to watch it. She opened the door and stepped out.
The sky was clear in Juanton City these two days, but the wind at night was still cold.
The lights inside the garden illuminated the path. She walked along the stone path.
When she saw that the person standing outside the door was Raymond, Scarlett was stunned for a moment. "Why are you here?"
Wasn't he at the hotel?
Raymond hadn't appeared in front of her for a few days.
She had thought that Raymond had given up, but now i t seemed that she had underestimated him.
Raymond drove here. He didn't appear in front of Scarlett these days just because he wanted to give
Scarlett time to think about it.
"Haste makes waste". If he was too aggressive, she would hate him.
If Emelia hadn't appeared and Scarlett hadn't happened to see them, Raymond wouldn't have come t o Scarlett again so soon.
He didn't remove the trending topic about him at the airport because he wanted to make Scarlett jealous, but it didn't mean that there was something between him and Emelia.
Alexander told him that when he and Emelia came out of the elevator, Scarlett was standing on the side watching. Thus, she must have heard what Emelia said.
Raymond didn't dare to take the risk. He drove over from the hotel.
Now they were separated by the door. Scarlett looked a t him calmly.
Raymond frowned slightly. "I missed you."
The weather today was very good, and the moon was beautiful.
Scarlett didn't expect Raymond to say this. She was inexperienced in love and not as thick-skinned as Raymond. As she heard what he said, his heart lurched.
