He opened the jewelry box. It was a silver bracelet decorated with gems in the shape of camellia flowers.
Scarlett wasn't as fanatical about jewelry as Alexis, and she had more than ten bracelets in the jewelry cabinet in her walk-in closet.
She was not short of bracelets.
"Thanks, but I don't need another bracelet."
Raymond grunted. He closed the box and took it back inside his pocket.
Seeing this, Scarlett pursed her lips slightly.
Raymond looked over. She met his eyes. "Do you still need to go to the toilet?"
"The flowers were not sent by me. Emelia asked Frank to buy them for her."
Raymond explained. "I'm going to the toilet."
Scarlett looked at his back. She walked to the side, poured a glass of water, and drank it slowly.
Raymond soon came out of the toilet and up to her. " Although I missed you, you may not let me kiss you."
He suddenly raised his hand and touched her face.
Raymond immediately pulled his hand back. "I'll go
now."
After saying that, he turned to leave.
Scarlett gripped the glass, watching Raymond go downstairs. After a while, she withdrew her eyes.
Raymond finally came to his senses.
He stopped pestering her.
Scarlett woke up early the next morning and saw a lot of messages from Alexis.
Scarlett raised her eyebrows. She immediately understood why her secretary looked anxious.
Scarlett smiled at Ronald. "Mr. Finn, do you know what I hate the most?"
Ronald stiffened for a moment and tried to explain, but Scarlett continued, "I hate people forcing me."
She didn't want to see him, but he broke in and waited for her.
Scarlett's smile faded. She looked at Katherine. "Ask the guards to send Mr. Finn out."
Katherine had already asked the guards to come over. Just as Scarlett said this, the elevator opened and two guards came out. "Ms. Lawrence?"
Katherine expressionlessly looked at Ronald. "Mr. Finn, please leave now."
Ronald was reluctant. "Ms. Reed, don't get me wrong. I just want to see Suny!"
Scarlett went into her office without looking back. She didn't like smart asses.
