Scarlett was woken up by the alarm clock. She opened her eyes. Sunlight filtered in through the curtains. It was a sunny day today.
She propped herself up. Thinking of Raymond's kiss last night, she couldn't resist flushing.
He would have had sex with her if not for that phone call.
"Hilla, boil water for me."
"Okay, master."
Scarlett composed her thoughts. She got out of bed and washed up.
She had a lot of things to do at Mornet today and had t o eat with someone at noon.
Scarlett had just finished washing up when the doorbell suddenly rang.
She raised an eyebrow. It was so early in the morning. She wondered who came over.
Scarlett turned on the monitor and was stunned when she saw Raymond at the door.
Scarlett walked downstairs and opened the door." Why are you here so early?"
"To drive my girlfriend to her company."
Raymond got out of his car. He drove here himself today.
Scarlett turned sideways and let him in. "Oh, come in."
Just after she turned around, Scarlett's hand was warmed. She looked down, seeing her hand being held tightly by Raymond.
It was her first time being so close to a man with her hand in his.
Scarlett had mixed feelings. She was a little embarrassed and happy.
She looked up at Raymond and found that he was gazing at her.
Scarlett blushed. "Don't look at me like that, Raymond."
"Why?"
He frowned confusedly.
Scarlett pursed her lips. "It's improper."
"Why do you think so?"
Scarlett remembered that he had looked at her glass several times before. She suddenly realized that she might have misunderstood Raymond.
He might like her glass.
Scarlett didn't expect it.
Raymond bought a lot of food, probably because he didn't know what she liked to eat. He bought many kinds of breakfast.
Scarlett looked at the dozen kinds of food on the table. "I like porridge and hate noodles."
Hearing this, Raymond instantly understood. "I'll buy you porridge tomorrow."
"Okay."
After breakfast, it was already eight-thirty.
"I'll drive myself."
If she sat in his car, anyone would guess that they were together.
"Alright. Do you want to have lunch with me at noon?"
