There was a red light ahead. Scarlett stopped the car and answered the phone. "Hello, this is Scarlett."
"It's me. Don't drive so fast. I'm not chasing you."
It was Raymond.
She had blocked him on the phone, but he got a new number.
The traffic lights at night changed quickly. The light would be green in five seconds.
Scarlett replied, "I'm hanging up."
After ending the call, Scarlett couldn't help touching her face.
It was a little hot.
The traffic light turned green. She came out of her trance and continued to drive forward, but she didn't speed up again. In the rear-view mirror, she saw Raymond's car nearly 1000 feet behind her.
Scarlett felt that she might be too impulsive tonight.
The car drove into the villa area. Scarlett had just parked the car in the garage when the doorbell rang.
She thought of Raymond's phone call just now and was a little afraid to open the door.
When she was lost in thought, there was a knock on the door.
Scarlett was stunned for a moment. She then realized that Raymond had climbed over the gate again.
She raised her eyebrows, went over, and opened the door. "Since when have you had a fetish for climbing over the gate?"
Scarlett uncontrollably stopped speaking. She met Raymond's eyes, and her heart pounded. Scarlett wanted to avoid his eyes.
Raymond didn't allow her to look away. He raised her chin. "Did you do that on purpose?"
Scarlett pulled his hand off her. Her face was calm, but her mind was in a whirl. "What do you mean?"
Raymond raised his eyebrows. He looked intensely at her. His eyes were shining charmingly in the light.
Scarlett was shocked by his gaze. She forgot to dodge and just watched him lean down and touch her forehead with his. "Scarlett, I saw it."
