After hearing his words, Scarlett promptly chuckled, "Liar."
Scarlett had just woken up, and her hair was a little unkempt, her charming eyes somewhat sleepy, but when she smiled, her eyes seemed to be veiled by a layer of faint drowsiness, and there was a gleam in them.
Raymond was itching to kiss her.
Scarlett anticipated it and stopped him. " You haven't brushed your teeth yet!"
After saying that, she gently pushed his face aside, turned around and got out of bed. "I'll go and freshen up!"
This was the first time that she had shared a bed with a man.
Of course, they had only slept.
They hadn't done anything other than that. If they told other people about it, chances were that none of them would believe it.
After freshening herself up, Scarlett went downstairs to find that Raymond was heating milk and baking bread in the kitchen.
Standing in the doorway of the kitchen and watching him expertly frying eggs, Scarlett was amazed. "Raymond, you can cook?"
As a kitchen-burner, Scarlett felt that learning culinary skills was an obstacle she would probably never be able to overcome.
"Yeah."
Scarlett was suspicious of that, but the egg
he fried was so good-looking. She felt that it was very unlikely for anybody who didn't know how to cook to make a fried egg like that.
Having perceived her silence, Raymond glanced over his shoulder at her. "You can't?"
"The nanny can handle this kind of stuff."
Scarlett made a response blandly, walked to the side and poured herself a glass of warm water.
Raymond turned off the gas and carried the newly made sandwiches outside." From now on, I’ll cook for you."
Scarlett sat opposite him and took the milk from his hand. "Thanks."
She was thanking him for making her such a big promise and for handing the milk to her.
