Rowan said he would come to Juanton City. However, over the next few days, Scarlett asked him several times, and he couldn't give her a specific date for his visit.
Scarlett knew that Rowan hadn't talked the talk. He said he would come to Juanton City, and he would.
But he didn't want Scarlett to know exactly what day he would come, and she guessed he didn't want her to know.
After having asked him twice, Scarlett wisely stopped asking this question.
In Raymond's office, Frank had gotten a call from the Tank family before Rowan
arrived.
When Frank received the call from the
Tank family, he was very tense and was afraid that he might say something wrong.
But obviously, he was thinking too much, and the caller didn't give him a chance to talk.
The person at the other end of the phone just told him, "Secretary Lewis, I am Mr. Rowan Tank's assistant. Please tell Mr.
Shaw that Mr. Tank will arrive in Juanton City by plane tomorrow afternoon and he would like to have dinner with Mr. Shaw. He will meet Mr. Shaw at Al Room of Clear Waters Hotel at six o'clock then."
After finishing the words, Mr. Tank's assistant hung up the phone.
Frank quickly passed on what Mr. Tank’s assistant had said to Raymond. The assistant apparently meant that Tomorrow Mr. Tank would definitely see Raymond, unless he didn’t want to be with Scarlett anymore.
"Mr. Shaw, you have an appointment with Mr. Abraham Maston from Taikongna Company tomorrow evening...”
"Let Mr. Conrad Williams keep the appointment instead of me."
Raymond made up his mind straight away, and Frank opened his mouth but said nothing.
Rowan was Scarlett's grandfather, and Frank knew who was more important in his heart.
Frank nodded, "Mr. Shaw, do you want me to check the flight of Mr. Tank?"
Raymond gave him a look, "No.”
He didn't think Rowan really wanted him to do this.
"Okay, I'll go out and inform Mr. Williams."
"Hmm."
Raymond answered. He looked after Frank, and by the time he reacted, he wasn’t in the mood to read the papers in front of him.
