That night, he lost sleep.
When his phone rang the next day, he knew he had overslept.
It was Scarlett's call, "You didn't just wake up, did you?"
Lately, Raymond had always come to her villa with breakfast, but he didn't do it today. Scarlett had waited until 8:30 but hadn't seen him. She thought something had happened to him, so she made that call.
"Sorry, Scarlett, I overslept."
Scarlett smiled, "Would you mind coming down and opening the gate?"
After having heard Scarlett's words.
Raymond got out of bed and walked out onto the balcony.
From a distance of seven or eight meters, he couldn't see very clearly, but he could see a person standing at the gate of his villa.
It was Scarlett.
"Okay," He answered. Without hanging up the phone, he just ran downstairs.
Rarely in his adult life had Raymond been this excited. He almost ran down the stairs. It was only when he ran out of the yard and got a clear view of Scarlett at the gate that he slowed down. He walked to the gate and opened it, "What are you doing here?"
"Can't I come over?"
Scarlett looked at him and raised her eyebrows slightly.
Raymond took the breakfast from her hand and led her by the hand towards the villa.
Scarlett hadn't been in this villa since a year and a half ago. When Scarlett reentered the Shaw family's villa, she was calmer than she expected.
"Did you wash your face and brush your teeth?"
Scarlett stood at the table and looked at Raymond who was unpacking the bag, which the breakfast was in.
He heard her and looked up at her, "Go ahead and eat, please."
He handed her a glass of milk and a hamburger. Then he touched her head with his hand and went upstairs to wash his face and brush his teeth.
