Alexander didn’t dare call Raymond to tell him about that. Thus, Scarlett didn't know that Shaylee had begged Alexander.
When Scarlett and Raymond were eating, Alexis told Scarlett on WhatsApp that Shaylee’s agent called Rylie many times, trying to soften Rylie up, but it didn’t work. At last, Shaylee’s agent threatened Rylie.
Alexis recorded their conversation beside Rylie and sent it to Scarlett. Scarlett converted it into text. After reading it, she couldn’t help raising her eyebrows.
Shaylee's agent was a little too arrogant.
Raymond cut up the steak and put it in front of her. Seeing that she was in a trance, Raymond asked, "What are you thinking?"
Scarlett gave her phone to him. "When Alexis and I were having lunch today, we ran into an actress. We once participated in the same show. She happened to be under contract to Alexander's company."
"Shaylee was eating with Adriel, the heir of New Island Real Estate. When we left, she reminded us not to spread it around, but she was photographed by paparazzi and hit the headlines that afternoon."
Raymond glanced at the chat history of Scarlett and Alexis. He frowned slightly." I'll go to Alexander."
"No need."
Scarlett smiled and took back her phone. " Just ignore her."
She would like to see how long Shaylee could be happy.
Seeing this, Raymond knew Scarlett had a plan. Thus, he didn't contact Alexander.
They went back to the villa after dinner. As the car turned into the path in front of the villa, Scarlett and Raymond saw a person standing outside the gate about 30 feet from them.
It was none other than Jean. She contacted Scarlett not long ago.
Scarlett raised her eyebrows, turning to look at Raymond. "It's Mrs. Shaw."
Raymond’s face was cold. "I'll go and talk to her. Wait a moment."
"Okay."
Scarlett unbuckled her seat belt with a nod. Raymond pushed open the door, got out of the car, and walked up to Jean.
Jean didn't want to wait here for Raymond, but she couldn't go to Teuton or Mornet. Jean was almost kicked out by Scarlett when she went to Mornet.
Yet in the blink of an eye, more than half a month passed. Thomas's case was about to go to court.
