As soon as Julie took her seat, Gale asked her who Scarlett was?

Julie went pale, "She's Scarlett Reed, Raymond's ex-wife."

Gale raised his eyebrows and looked at Scarlett sitting in a booth, her face propped up with one hand and her phone held in the other. The sun shone on her beautiful face, making her look soft and delicate.

Gale's praise of Scarlett made Julie a little unhappy.

Julie clamped her hand against her mouth and looked remorseful as if she regretted saying that.

Gale raised his eyes, "It seems that Raymond's ex-wife is a very amorous woman."

Gale never looked at Scarlett again or asked about her. He was still a little interested in Julie.

Julie was not pleased and even more annoyed that she was sitting in the right spot to see Scarlett enjoying her meal.

Julie hit upon a plan, "I'm going to the bathroom."

Gale nodded, and when Julie was gone, he adjusted his clothes and walked towards Scarlett.

"Hello, Ms. Reed. I'm Gale Conway."

Scarlett, who had just walked a few steps, stopped and looked back at him, "Anything else?"

"I heard that your company is preparing to make a film. I have some interest in that. I suppose I'll invest i f it's really a good project. Can I talk to you in detail?"

Scarlett raised her eyebrows, "You will go for it?"
