When Scarlett came out of the restroom, she saw Harold at the door.
It looked like he was waiting for her.
Scarlett glanced at him. She didn't want to pay any attention to him.
"Ms. Reed."
Harold initiated to talk to her. Hearing him call her, Scarlett paused in her tracks, "Mr. Shaw, what’s up?"
She wondered what Harold wanted.
Harold smiled, "Nothing, I just wanted to ask if you would like to go to dinner with me one day?"
Scarlett looked back at him and smiled faintly, "Mr. Shaw, please be straightforward. I don't think I understand your intentions."
Hearing Scarlett's words, Harold assumed that she was indeed with Raymond for the money, and he became even more excited." Raymond is not my uncle's son. I thought you should know that! We all have proof that he's not Zacharie's son. What will happen to Raymond when the evidence is released? I think you know better than I do."
Scarlett looked at him with an intrigued gaze. "So?"
"Ms. Reed, you're a smart man. If Raymond leaves Tenton, he's nothing. He has
nothing left. Why would you still stay with him by then?"
Scarlett nodded as if she understood, "So you're saying I should find a more promising boyfriend, right?”
Harold nodded. He thought Scarlett was a realistic woman. He became even more excited. "Ms. Reed, you really are a smart woman. You got my point right away."
Scarlett looked at him and frowned slightly, "But I wonder, Mr. Reed, who do you think would be the best choice for me? Is it Alexander Smith? Stephen James? Or Jake Thomas?"
Scarlett mentioned a few men by name, but Harold wasn’t one of them. The corner of his mouth twitched. "Ms. Reed, why do you bother to consider them? Your Mr. Right is now standing right in front of you!"
