The two answered at the same time, yet their answers were completely different.
Scarlett smiled, "It’s interesting. The lady said you know each other, but you say you’ve never met her."
Raymond looked at Scarlett, his thin lips flattened, "She was asking for my phone number."
Scarlett was actually kidding Raymond, she didn't expect him to say that straight away.
Raymond was aloof, but Scarlett felt awkward.
Just then, Harold, who was so angry with Scarlett, came back. Seeing Harold, Scarlett
called out, "Mr. Shaw."
Hearing Scarlett call him, Harold thought she regretted rejecting him. He put on a mild expression, "What's up?"
"Maybe you should stay by your girlfriend's side, so she won't ask for someone else's boyfriend's number."
When Scarlett said the words, she had a faint smile on her face the whole time.
However, in her eyes, sarcasm rather than a smile was there.
Harold glanced at his girlfriend. He was already annoyed by Scarlett, and now he was more indignant, "You're not going?
Have you no shame?"
The woman tried to hit on Raymond, but she failed. She certainly didn't want to lose Harold this rich guy.
"Harold, listen to me, it's not like that!" But Harold wouldn't listen to her. He swept away. He had just been fooled by Scarlett. He felt humiliated.
No one could stand such humiliation, let alone Harold. When he came back in exasperation but to find that his girlfriend was hitting on Raymond.
Although he didn't love the woman and he was only having fun with her for a few days, Harold got angry when he found out she was hitting on another man behind his back.
