At the time, Gale had apparently seen Scarlett, and he walked up to her car with the flowers, blocking her path.
Scarlett raised her eyebrows. She lowered her window and asked, "Mr. Conway, Is there anything I can do for you?"
"I was being rude yesterday. Today I came specifically to apologize to you."
Whoops! She'd never seen anyone bring red roses to apologize before, and the man had come to her house.
Scarlett smiled, "I don't feel offended. If you want nothing else, please step aside. I'm driving into the garage."
The gate was already open and Scarlett's car stopped right in front of it. She was about to drive in, but Gale was in the way.
Gale raised his hand and looked at his watch. "It's still early. Would you like to have a drink with me?"
Scarlett recognized the watch. It was a classic mechanical watch from CV, worth over two million dollars, almost the price of her car.
His move looked ridiculous in Scarlett's eyes like a kid showing off his toys. Scarlett didn't give a damn about
it.
"No, I don't feel like drinking today."
Gale continued to pester her, "May I come in for a glass of water?"
The smile on Scarlett's face faded, "We happen to run out of water."
"Then I'll order a drink and have it delivered here.
Would you mind letting me go in and sit for a while?"
"Sorry, but I can't."
Scarlett didn't want to waste her time on such boring things. She pushed open the car door and got out of the car. Looking at Gale, she pointed at her car. "Mr. Conway, Do you recognize this car?"
"Yes, it is the latest limited edition of Ferrari last year. There are 100 units worldwide. Each one is over $ 3,200,000."
Scarlett nodded and smiled, "I think you know the property price of Juanton City, right?"
"I don't know much about that. But I know the price of your house. This house is located by the lake. It is worth about fifty million dollars, isn’t it?"
