Frank sighed with relief when he saw Scarlett. "Ms. Reed, there you are."
He deliberately called her name from a distance.
As expected, Raymond, who was sullen inside the office, obviously softened his expression after hearing Frank's words.
Scarlett glanced at Frank and said with a smile, "You’ve done hard work."
Frank was embarrassed to meet Scarlett's eyes and smiled. "It's my job, Ms. Reed."
Then, he made an excuse to go back to his office.
Scarlett walked into Raymond's office. The man sitting in the chair had still got angry, but he showed a gentle face when he raised his eyes to look at her. "Aren't you busy?"
"Yeah."
After glancing at the project plan in front of Raymond, Scarlett asked, "Are you not in a good mood?"
Raymond shook his head and said, "No."
He wasn't in a bad mood. He just didn't like to waste words.
It took more than two months to change the plan for the new project, but he did not expect the plan handed to him to be of no use.
Scarlett did not ask any more questions. After all, Raymond didn't interfere with her company’s affairs and she wouldn't do that either.
Although Scarlett rarely got angry, it did not mean she was good at being fooled. If her subordinates didn't do a good job, she would definitely do something.
"Are those reporters still there?"
Raymond knew that the reporters were gathered outside Mornet Corporation, so he asked Frank to help deal with it.
"When I went back home, I found two reporters in front of the villa as well."
Scarlett paused for a moment and said, " I've asked Katherine to handle it."
