"I drank a glass of fruit wine."
"You really have a low alcohol tolerance."
Chris was quite frank.
Scarlett sat down on the sofa directly. Then she looked up at him and asked, "What do you want to ask?"
"Your friend's name is Raymond?"
Scarlett's hand trembled slightly. "You’re really smart."
She didn't deny it, but admitted it indirectly.
Chris raised his head and drank up the red wine in the goblet. Then he walked to Scarlet and asked, "Is Raymond your boyfriend or husband?"
"My boyfriend."
"Do I look like him a lot?"
"Yes."
Chris suddenly leaned over, with his head just ten centimeters above Scarlett’s head. He looked Scarlett in the eyes. "How much do we look like each other?"
Scarlett looked into his black eyes, without uttering anything.
"Almost the same?"
She didn't speak, but Chris asked.
'Almost the same.’
Scarlett moved a little. Then she turned away, looked at the box of portable cigars on the coffee table, and responded in a low voice. "Yeah."
Though she answered in a low voice, there were only Chris and she in the room and they sat closely, so Chris heard her answer clearly.
He twitched the corner of his lips and forced a smile. "So, you regard me as your boyfriend's substitute?"
When he said, he raised his fingers to deliberately touch the corner of his lower lip that was bitten by Scarlett last night.
Last night, Scarlett lost control and took a hard bite of his mouth. There was a scab on the corner of Chris's lower lip, which was dark brown and clashed with his red lips. Scarlett noticed the scar at a glance.
