Scarlett calmed down. She looked at Chris and asked, "Did you grow up in Augast?"
Chris said, "They told me like that."
Scarlett seized the main point and said, " They told you like that? So you have lost your memories?"
He said, "I had a car accident three months ago. I woke up more than one month ago. I have lost my memories since then."
She said, "He had the accident six months ago."
Chris looked at her and said seriously, "I have lost all my memories. My experiences here may be cooked up."
He stood up as he said, "Six months ago? Do you mean last October?"
She said, "Yes."
He asked, "Have you found his body?"
She said, "Not yet."
She didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing.
Chris asked, "What happened to him?"
Scarlett looked at the cigar on the ashtray and was lost in thought. After a while, she looked up at Chris and asked, "Have you taken the plastic surgery? Or have you taken the facial repair surgery?"
He said, "I had the surgery half a month ago."
She lowered her head and reached out to cover her face.
When her tears seeped through her fingers, she covered her face more tightly.
She had looked for him for more than six months, one hundred and eighty-six days.
She cried lightly and tried her best to suppress her sadness. If he didn’t hear carefully, he even couldn’t hear that.
Chris saw her shaking shoulders and heard her sob. He frowned and felt disturbed.
They all kept silent. Chris didn’t say anything to disturb Scarlett.
Two minutes went by. He picked up several tissues and handed them to her.
She took the tissues from his hand and wiped her tears. When she raised her head again, her eyes were red. She said, "Thank you.”
