Flirting With My Ex-husband novel Chapter 941

Scarlett woke up early in the morning and found that she was in Chris's arms.

It was still dark outside, and so was the room. Scarlett opened her eyes, and she could not see Chris's facial features until a moment later.

She didn't dare to move for fear of waking him up. Later, she raised her hand slightly and outlined his face in the air.

She didn't know when they would meet again after departing with each other today. Thinking of this, she felt a little blue.

She wanted to accompany Chris back to Bomsville if she could, but she must stay here to help him guard Teuton.

When she was deep in thought, Chris suddenly moved, slowly opened his black eyes, looked at her, and raised his hand to touch her eyebrows. And then, he put his hand on the back of her head, pressed it slightly, and lowered his head to kiss her forehead, saying, "It’s still early. Why don't you get more sleep?"

Scarlett didn't say anything but wrapped her arms around his waist and squeezed into his arms. When she pressed her face against his chest and listened to his methodical heartbeat, her eyes turned red.

Because of being lonely for more than half a year before, Scarlett had been addicted to the warmth from him these days.

She didn't want him to go, and she hadn't felt so sentimental for years.

She had been independent for a long time, so when she meet a shoulder that she could lean on, she didn't want to leave it.

As long as Chris was by her side, she would feel at ease even though they were respectively doing their own things.

But today, Chris was leaving. Scarlett felt sad when she thought that they would be thousands of miles apart because she didn't know when they would meet again.

Scarlett in Chris's arms didn't speak, so he raised his hand to stroke her hair silently and lowered his head to kiss her now and then.

Scarlett moved after about two minutes. She looked up at Chris and asked Hilla to turn on the lights in the room.

The light was a bit dazzling. Scarlett narrowed her eyes slightly, and after getting used to it, she reached out, grabbed the phone beside her, looked at the time, and said, "It's almost 7 o’clock."
