"What?"
"It's not a big deal. Some stupid people say that I have an affair with Scarlett. I'm afraid that you will misunderstand when you hear the rumors. I don't want you two to quarrel because of me."
After Alexander finished speaking, he found that Chris was staring at him with a strange look, so he was startled and quickly said, "No way! Are you really suspecting me?"
Chris sneered, "You're thinking too much. Anyone with brains knows that Scarlett's taste is not that bad."
Alexander could hear the irony in his words, so he said dissatisfiedly, "I'm not that bad, right? Anyway, I am the eldest son of the Smith family. I am a rich man with a handsome face. A lot of beautiful women had accosted me on the street.”
Chris didn't reply but looked at him with a weird smile.
Seeing this sarcastic smile, Alexander was speechless.
This man had lost his memory, but he was as annoying as before!
After they made jokes with each other, the sadness of parting became much less.
Alexander glanced at Chris, raised his hand, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "I heard that many people in Bomsville want to harm you. If you need any help, don't hesitate to call me.”
Although Chris had lost his memory and was as annoying as before, he was his best friend for more than 30 years.
Alexander thought he was a loving person.
Chris looked down at his watch and said," It's twenty past ten."
The disgust in his words was too obvious. Alexander gritted his teeth, suppressed the urge to fight him, and said, "Okay, I won't bother you two anymore.”
Then, Alexander waved his hand, turned around, and left.
Scarlett was in a small shop in the distance. Seeing Alexander leave, she raised her eyebrows slightly, paid the bill, and walked to Chris. Looking up at him, she smiled, "It's time to go through the security check now."
