"Sky," he said softly. I only smiled as I rested my head against his chest in a hug.
"So warm," I breathed.
"I think you should lay down," Leo stuttered. I lifted my head to smile at him.
"I want to do something first," I pouted.
"What?" He asked. I pushed up on my tiptoes and inched my lips closer to his. They looked so soft and inviting. I let my eyes close and sighed in content at the feeling of his lips on mine. They were just as soft as my hazy brain imagined. When I pulled away, his face was stunned.
"I really think you should lay down now and get some sleep," he said softly. I sighed and went back to standing with my head on his chest.
"You have to lay down too," I argued.
"Okay, we'll both lay down. Alright?" He said. I nodded. He held my shoulders before pulling the covers back and laying me down. He pulled the covers over me before turning off the lights and getting in the bed himself. As soon as I felt the bed dip, I latched to him. I wrapped myself around him like a snake. Leo hesitated before putting an arm around me with a sigh.
"Last night was an accident. Sorry," I stuttered over my words. Leo's jaw tightened before he released a breath.
"Don't do it again. And definitely don't drink around other people. In fact, don't drink at all," he snapped at me. Even like this, my heart fluttered.
Did I like Leo? Yeah, I found Leo attractive, and sweet and attentive, but I didn't come to the school to date, so I pushed all thoughts of romantic feelings aside whenever they came. Leo watched my face a little longer before his head dipped down closer to mine. I couldn't help but to gasp as his face hovered inches about mine.
"I'm being serious, Sky. You can't afford to slip up," he warned. I found myself nodding silently. I knew he was trying to intimidate me into listening to him, but I felt anything but intimidated.
