“You know the answer, Marin.”

Edwin bowed slightly with a smile in his bright eyes.

Marin had seen many men. But this was the first time that she blushed in front of a man younger than her.

“I don’t know what you mean.”

She smiled, pretending to be calm. Yet her mind was in chaos.

“I am your puppy, right? Then I’ll treat you as my sister.”

“Aren’t you afraid that I approached you for a reason?”

“What do you want to know from me?”

“Not only information. I want something from you.”

Marin stretched out her index finger and drew a circle on his chest.

“I want your heart. Will you give it to me?”

“Sure.”

“Are you foolish in love?”

Marin teased with a smile and then left.

Edwin pursed his lips and followed Marin.

At the corner, they heard a loud slap.

“Bitch!” Isobel shouted grimly, “If you dare to harm my son, I’ll kill you!”

“Kill me?”

Sasha sneered and then grabbed Zeke from beside her.

“I’ve spent millions on you in the past few years. Are you dumb now?”

Isobel slapped Sasha with all her strength. Sasha’s carefully styled hair was scattered, and her face was swollen.

“Alright, stop arguing. Let’s forget about what happened just now.”

Zeke said with a long face, looking very impatient.

“Zeke, your mother slapped me for no reason, and you are telling me to forget about it?”

“Zeke, come here!”

The argument gave Zeke a headache. Yet he knew how crazy these two women could be, so he must stop them at some point.

“Alright,” he said to Sasha slowly, “She is my mother after all. Would you please give in this time? I’ll apologize to you when we get back.”

“Back? Where are you going with her?” Isobel shrieked, “You’ve been fooling around with her all this time, haven’t you?”

It was Alexa’s birthday party tonight. Marin didn’t want these two women to mess around here.

Seeing Marin, Zeke had a weird feeling.
