Sweet Twins Indulge in Daddy's Love novel Chapter 115

"Breeding is..." For a while, Angelina hesitated, but then she continued and said, "You see those people who do Kung Fu. They always lock themselves in a room..."

"Grandma, is dad practicing Kung Fu too?" As a boy, he was inquisitive about the said martial arts, when in fact, Charles had absolutely nothing to do with it.

"Yes, you're right. That's it! He's practicing!" To get away from the young boy's innocent interrogation, Angelina agreed with him at once. Her face showcased a forced smile, trying to pass it off as a symbol of concurrence to her grandson.

"Wow, daddy is great! I want to practice it too!" Bobby exclaimed excitedly, clapping his hands in celebration. The boy had exactly no idea that it was completely unrelated to what was really happening inside his father's room.

"All right. You can learn from your daddy after he's done." Angelina's voice emanated a sense of frustration, obviously dismissing the child at once.

"Yey!" Nodding his head, Bobby exclaimed with eyes full of excitement.

Undoubtedly, Angelina's unexpected use of such word for an excuse aroused the kid's interest in Kung Fu.

He was so delighted that he began kicking and jabbing his fists in the air as he lay on his bed.

But after some time, he got tired and bored of it. So he got out of bed and snuck to his father's room.

As he glided his way towards it, a strange sound resonated from the inside.

'Is daddy really practicing Kung Fu?' Bobby thought, pressing his ear against the red wooden door.

Although it was quite low, he could still slightly hear the noise.

'Weird. That doesn't sound like Kung Fu,' he speculated, furrowing his brows in utmost curiosity.

Raising his little hand, he knocked on the door gently.

Meanwhile, Dorothy, who was silently sitting like a meerkat on the couch, was stunned to hear the sudden knock.

'What is she doing? She shouldn't come here,’ she silently said to herself, thinking that it was Angelina who was at the door.

She cast a glance at Charles, who wrapped himself in a quilt and was still crying in pain, and assumed that he didn't hear it.

So, unwilling to be disturbed while carrying out her plan, Dorothy pretended not to hear it too.

On the other side of the door was Bobby, who frowned after not getting any response. Then, with a pout, he muttered, "Daddy, are you having a hard time practicing Kung Fu? Let me help you, okay?"

'What?' Dorothy thought, blushing and obviously befuddled at what the boy just said. It must be Angelina who had told such an excuse to Bobby.

'Kung Fu? Really? She's really one heck of a story-teller!' A wide grin etched on her lips as she thought of that.

The old woman thought that with Dorothy's help, her son would probably yield and listen. But, unexpectedly, the hard-headed Charles was even more stubborn than she thought.

"Daddy, daddy, what are you doing?" Bobby knocked on the door again. He was now even angrier for being ignored.

The scowl and grimace he sported exhibited how displeased he was.

At this time, Angelina had already gone to bed, thinking that she finally figured out a way to make Dorothy and Charles a couple.

In fact, she slept soundly while being confident that Nancy would never get engaged to her son.

It was what she had been hoping all along. After all, Dorothy was a much better catch for Charles. The two just needed to rekindle the fire that was lost between them.

At the same time, Charles felt like he was coated in flames. But if he had to burn in heat, it would be Nancy who would accompany him, not any other woman.

And right now, although he was slightly fuzzy, he still heard Bobby's voice.

"Bobby?" he asked in a daze.

"I didn't hear anything." Dorothy was quick enough to dismiss that idea off his head. Any distraction at this point would only render her plans moot. So, summoning her best facade, she tried to pretend as if Bobby wasn't really at the door.

However, the stubborn bull—Charles—rolled out of bed and stumbled to open it.

"Daddy, if you don't open the door, I'll go now," Bobby murmured in disappointment, even almost on the verge of crying.

"Bobby!" Finally, Charles was able to utter in a hoarse voice.

"Daddy! Are you practicing Kung Fu?" The young boy almost jumped upon hearing his father's voice.

"Bobby, grandma locked me here. Get the key and open the door for me quickly." Charles managed to command his son while still struggling with the effect of the drug.

"Got it, Dad!" Bobby turned around, but before he could totally run to get the key, he hurriedly returned and asked, "Daddy, are you done with your Kung Fu?"
