Was Jay truly omnipotent in the city?
"Now you know who I am?" Jay asked with an evil smile. It seemed like he had won over a lot of public support by doing charity with Charles.
Doris helplessly rolled her eyes and snorted.
"Doris, you are a woman. Instead of angering people left and right, you should be more gentle. Don't you know that anger will negatively affect the child in your belly?" Raising his eyebrows, Jay bent over and pecked on her lips.
Hearing this, Doris got angry again. "Jay, you still haven't told me about your today's whereabouts. Which beauty did you date today?"
Jay was unaware that Doris was bubbling with jealousy and suspicion inside. So he said vaguely, "Which beauty am I dating? I won't tell you."
"Rascal!"
"Well, I think I will just stick with you then, Doris," said Jay with a snicker.
Arguing with Jay was a little too taxing for Doris' mental health, so she chose to ignore him.
"Well, your belly is bigger than before. Let’s go to the mall and buy maternity clothes. Remember, don't run around again as miracles don't happen twice. Fortunately, you and the baby came out unscathed this time." 'Are you hoping that something bad happens?"
"Doris!" Jay roared.
Doris lowered her head and didn't dare to say anything.
On their way to the mall, Jay gave her a credit card and told her to buy whatever she liked.
Doris had nowhere else to vent her anger, so she found an opportunity in the money. Consequently, she spent a sum of three hundred thousand within minutes. It was not her money anyway.
Three hundred thousand dollars was already an astronomical number for Doris. She didn't expect that Jay would take it so lightly and even say, "How can this be enough?"
Doris regretted not having many hands to carry more packages.
"Jay, if you have nowhere to spend, you can just give me that card," Doris said with a flattering smile.
Raising his eyebrows, Jay put the card into his wallet and said, "Give you and let you run away with the money?"
Doris sighed and thought, 'Well, he really can read my mind.'
Along the way, Doris carefully studied his side face. It seemed like he wasn't angry, so she squinted her eyes with relief.
"Doris!" said Jay coldly.
Doris immediately opened her eyes and fawningly smiled, "Mr. Fang, what's up?"
"You ran away today. It even seemed like you were unwilling to stay," Jay said gloomily.
"No, I just missed you so much. Those servants are like puppets. They don't even speak. They are so boring! I wanted to leave so that I could see you, but they didn't
allow me to. So, 1-1.Doris blinked her watery bright eyes and smiled with child-like innocence.
This woman was always good at quibbling.
"Are you hungry?"
Of course, she was hungry!
It was afternoon now. She hadn't eaten anything except breakfast.
Doris nodded hard. "Yes, I'm hungry."
"What do you want to eat?" asked Jay.
"I will eat whatever you like," Doris answered quickly.
"Your treat? After all, it's your fault that you left home without permission. Reasonably, you should give me a treat," Jay said with a straight face.
"Okay, but I don't have much money on me," Doris replied.
