Were you sent here by the higher-ups to monitor me?” James said nonchalantly, “I come from the Demon Realm. That’s the only thing you need to know.” “Understood.” The Protector nodded.

Then, he answered James’ question, “Emperor Rank cultivators are the most powerful living beings in this world. In ancient times, the grand army of the Demon Race appeared on Earth and tried to conquer the planet. However, we were met with resistance by the earthlings.”

“Back then, His Majesty Xacobe Menachem was the one who led the army. However, he was met with a counterattack from the earthlings and was trapped in Mount Walvern. As His Majesty had foreseen his demise, he sealed his only blood kin, Lucifer Menachem, away to leave behind seeds for a future renaissance of the Demon Race.

“After the Demon Race retreated, the earthlings pursued the Demon Race and hunted us down. In the current age, the Demon Race’s influence on Earth is negligible. Meanwhile, my ancestor who was a general under His Majesty ordered me to remain in the Ancient Realm and await further instructions.

“A few decades ago, I received a secret order instructing me to conquer the Ancient Realm and resurrect Lucifer.”

Hearing this, James knew that the Demon Race was on the move.
