An explosion occurred on the horizon. The fist that James created did not harm the formation. Instead, invincible energy materialized from the horizon and headed in the direction of James.

James avoided it rapidly. Thump! An enormous abyss appeared below him.

“What a strong formation. If this massive ball of energy hit me, my skin would have been torn to shreds. If I survived, that is.” James took a deep breath.

He did not stay any longer. He hid his own aura and entered into an invisible mode, nearing the core area.

In the Desolate Galaxy, each living being only had three thousand years to live. One could only kill others to increase their lifespan. Otherwise, the formation would wipe them off once their time limit is up.

James did not have any hard feelings either. He was like the God of Death, harvesting death from living beings as he walked through the darkness. He was very careful, only attacking those whose ranking was not high enough. He probably killed at least a thousand of them.

As for the Galaxy, it was in total chaos. Apart from the living beings who formed alliances with others, the remaining figures were fighting and killing each other. The weak were eradicated, over and over.

Yet, after 10,000 years of fierce battle, there were still many living beings in the Galaxy. It would still take quite a while until this fight could truly end. This was because many living beings were still hiding in the dark, hoping to escape by luck.
