The group of creatures rallied each other.

Wotan looked at James and asked, “What should we do now?”

James thought awhile and said, “What else is there to do? Our only option is to kill them after breaching their barrier.”

James still had his hidden weapon, the Flame Art's Three Fire Transformations.

However, James was unsure if there were other Acmeans still lurking around unbeknownst to him. He wanted to refrain from using it unless it was absolutely necessary.

James instructed Wotan, “You’ll strike them from the left. I’ll attack from the right.”

Then, he summoned a sword. The blade was black and with a slightly curved tip. It was James’ reforged Malevolent Sword. The Malevolent Sword’s strength surpassed a Chaotic Treasure and could already be considered an Acmean God Weapon.

Holding the Malevolent Sword in his hand, James could sense a powerful force buried within it. He disappeared and reappeared in front of the creatures in a flash. Wotan did not remain idle and quickly followed suit, appearing on the other side of the barrier.

As soon as James got close, Sigmund charged at him. Sigmund had already reverted to his original form. Under normal circumstances, he would never have the courage to fight James. However, he was protected by a powerful barrier, he was not afraid.

James slashed at the barrier, slicing through the void.

Sigmund quickly dodged the attack.

Sword Energy collided with the protective barrier, but Sigmund remained unscathed.

“This is going to be difficult.” James frowned a little.

While James was distracted, several other powerhouses appeared around him and launched deadly attacks at him. James remained calm.

The Sword Energy traveled at a blinding speed. James was engaged in combat at that moment with the other powerhouses. It was already too late when he attempted to block the Sword Energy.

Although he had superb physical strength, the Sword Energy still managed to pierce through his body. His body was run through by the Sword Energy and a bloody wound formed. Fortunately, the injury was not serious enough to weaken him.

James immediately used the Life Path’s power, and his injuries quickly recovered.

It was then that James decided not to hold back anymore. His power would lessen significantly if the fight were prolonged. It would be difficult to overpower the powerhouses if he was exhausted.
