After the envoy left, James turned his eyes to Jethro, who remained seated not far away. James bowed slightly to him and exited the room as well.

“What should we do now, Father?” Leilani asked.

Jethro replied, “We should act as if nothing happened. All we have to do is remain patient and observe what happens next.”

As soon as James spotted Youri in the hall, he bowed to the latter respectfully. “Sir Youri, I was having a debate with one of the Grand Patriarchs of the Angel Race when I received your summon. Did something urgent come up?”

Youri conjured a moving image by using the inscriptions.

James began watching the scenes intently.

After the final scene was over, James commented, “Who knew Madam Thea would still be alive today… Even that mysterious man from the Human Race has made an appearance.”

“That’s right.” Youri continued, “This is the reason why I’ve summoned you for your immediate return. The humans have begun to carry out their plans. We don’t have much time left, and I have an urgent task for you.”
