James immediately sensed that Quattro was upto no good. He looked at Quattro and asked calmly, “What’s the matter?” Quattro walked over, sat beside James, and said, “It’s nothing, really. But you see, we’re going to war very soon. Whether or not we secure this plane is not guaranteed. You’ve mastered so many Supernatural Powers and primitive inscriptions, so why don’t you give me some? It’ll be easier for me to help you protect this world if my cultivation rank improves.” James looked at him and asked, “What do you want to learn?”

Quattro replied seriously, ‘The Genesis Path of the new world. If you teach it to me, I’ll help you keep control over this world.”

Before James went to Stephen, Quattro was his first candidate as the new world’s lord.

However, Quattro has proven to be quite unreliable. James was worried that Qauttro would become uncontrollable and decided he was unfit to rule.

“Maybe another time,” James replied casually, trying to brush him off.

Quattro’s expression was unnatural, evidently displeased to not have his request fulfilled. However, he still replied obediently, “Alright.”

After the conversation ended, Quattro left.

James sat down on a rock, closed his eyes, and rested.
