Curiously enough, the space around James seemed fine even after all that commotion. Neither the blast from the lightning bolt nor the impact of James’ fall left any marks or dents in that area.
As James flopped down on the ground, it only brought up clouds of dust.
Numerous cracks had appeared on James’ skin. Blood oozed out of those cracks and tainted his clothes red.
“That’s a frightening amount of energy…”
James stumbled to his feet. He raised his hand and wiped the blood off the corners of his mouth. His gaze was fixed on the tribulation clouds.
“Just a single hit of those lightning bolts is enough to destroy my body, which has attained the strength of the Quasi Transcendental Bliss Rank. It seems I need to figure out a way to survive this Heavenly Tribulation.”
There was a deep frown on James’ forehead. However, he was feeling slightly excited inside.
At that point, it was difficult for James to further improve the strength of his body. Although he might risk losing his life during the Heavenly Tribulation, it was nonetheless a great opportunity for James to enhance the powers of his body. He might even get to reach the peak of the Quasi Transcendental Bliss Rank in terms of his body’s strength and resilience.
He sat on the ground and began conjuring multiple inscriptions in his head. Those inscriptions split and reformed quickly several times.
In a matter of minutes, James had designed a unique body refinement technique by using the vast knowledge he had of inscriptions.
As he initiated the technique, James absorbed and used the energy of the lightning bolt lingering in his body to heal his injuries.
Just then, a second lightning bolt hit James. He immediately absorbed all that energy by using his new technique.
Whilst most of the lightning boltʼs energy traveled to all parts of his body, Jamesʼ meridians, flesh, and bones sustained severe damage.

How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....

James always behind in cultivation then always lost in the battle.what the heck is this story about i hate reading it.ill stop reading it now.nothing is good about the story.always failed to protect the love one's specially his wife.the story become boring when he wants to cultivate when he cultivate only at the low level.he did not attain the same level of his opponent.the story say even he mate a cultivator in the upper level he cal destroy it and when the battle begins he lose.Watafak is this.dont ready this novel...
