Suddenly, James spotted the figure of a man appearing at the faraway peak of the mysterious mountain.

In a flash, that figure vanished and reappeared before James.

Before he could react, James was thrown backward in the air by a tremendous amount of energy.

James was completely defenseless against that powerful force. He was even sent out of the formationʼs barrier due to that immense blast.

Boom!

James crashed forcefully into an area of the wasteland. A long trough was made as James rolled and tumbled a few times on the ground.

A short while later, James clambered to his feet.

As his gaze fell on the strange formation, James furrowed his brows. “What the hell was that?”

He was sent out of the formation even before he could make out what that figure was.

James moved closer to the formation again. He tried several times to cross the barrier and enter the encapsulated area but to no avail. In the end, James gave up trying.

He did not spend long dwelling over how he had exited the area.

James already had a rough idea that he had returned to the time before the Ancestral Site was destroyed. However, he was not sure which period or era he had arrived at.

He planned to visit somewhere with living beings and ask around for more information.

James randomly picked a direction and started traveling toward it. Soon enough, he made it out of the wasteland.
