The Almighty Dragon General novel Chapter 5636

James had no idea what the Hagios Sect’s Leader wanted from him this time. He stood up and walked out of his courtyard.

A disciple stood outside the courtyard’s entrance, awaiting him. Upon seeing James, he said respectfully, “Our sect leader would like to see you.”

“Alright.” James nodded and said, “Lead the way.”

“This way, please.”

The disciple gestured to James and led him toward the Hagios Sect’s main mountain.

Soon, they arrived at the back of their main mountain.

“Our sect leader is waiting for you at the cliff. Go ahead.”

James looked at the mountain in front of him. He took a step forward and disappeared from the spot. The next moment, he was already on a cliff.

A stone table and some stone chairs were set up on the cliff.

Two elderly men sat at the stone table. One was the Hagios Sect’s Leader, Landry. The other was also a familiar face. It was the Hagios Sect’s Great Elder, Kairav Xogah.

The two sat at the table, chatting about something with solemn expressions.

James approached, clasped his hands, and greeted them, “Sir Landry, Sir Kairav.”

Landry pointed to a chair beside him and said, “Make yourself comfortable.”

James walked over and sat down. He looked at Kairav puzzledly. Kairav was supposed to be at the border world at the depth of the Halcyon Road.

‘Why is he back here?’ thought James.

Kairav looked at James and asked solemnly, “Do you know what you’ve released in the Halcyon Road’s depths?”

James shook his head and said, “How would I know?”

Kairav said coldly, “You’ve caused a huge problem.”

“What does it have to do with me?” James immediately refuted and explained himself, “I already warned your disciples. However, they insisted on opening the formation and venturing into the place. They promised to take care of the aftermath if something went wrong. How is it my fault?”

“You…” Kairav’s face darkened.

Landry immediately interjected, saying, “Enough. Now is not the time to be blaming anyone.”

James asked curiously, “What’s wrong? Does that mysterious shadow have a terrifying history?”
