James was planning to travel back to the time when Xayal had fused with the Dark Heavenly Path after being severely wounded.

However, he could not travel up the River of Time as it would cause the space to collapse.

“Xayal!” James said bitingly.

James left the collapsed space found along the River of Time and materialized at the deepest area of the Dark World. He fixed his gaze on a spot somewhere several meters away from him.

Gradually, James could see clouds of black aura gathering over that spot.

In a matter of seconds, they formed the shape of a planet, which was scattered with various dents and holes on its surface. Then, a large, creepy eye appeared on the side of the planet James was looking at.

“Is this Xayalʼs actual form?”

James frowned slightly as he studied the strange star before him.

“James Caden.”

The vague silhouette of a man appeared before the strange star. A brief moment later, a man in a black robe materialized at that spot.

One might think the man was an evil being who had crawled out of the underworld due to his ugly and distorted face.

“You entered the Yuraeceon Rank even sooner than I had predicted.”

Xayalʼs hoarse voice resounded through the space.

James stretched his shoulders and said nonchalantly, “I couldnʼt kill you last time. We should have another battle now that I have reached the Yuraeceon Rank.”

“Hah!”

Xayal scoffed, “I havenʼt recovered my powers back then. However, I am only one step from attaining my full powers now. On the other hand, you’re only in the first stage of Yuraeceon Rank. You won’t be able to defeat me.”

He continued, “You shouldnʼt act rashly if you had yet to figure out a way to exterminate me. Otherwise, it’ll be the end for you.”

“Is that so?”
