The Almighty Dragon General novel Chapter 5915

Those words were like a knife to Truettʼs heart.

Truett dropped to his knees with a devastated look on his face.

“Dad, I was defeated. Although I had powers of the Yuraeceon Xaelm Rankʼs Seventh Tribulation, I still lost to a man on the Yuraeceon Xaelm Rankʼs First Tribulation.”

Truett cried dejectedly, “I am no longer the peerless fighter or the son that you take pride in!”

There was a loud sound as Yegor threw a slap across Truettʼs face.

Truettʼs eyes were bright with unshed tears as he looked up at Yegor. “I’m a shame to the Skynet group!”

Yegor slapped Truett in the face again, and he even gave him a heavy kick on the stomach.

“You should punish me, Dad.” Truett pushed himself up and continued kneeling. “I’ve lost everything. I might as well just die.”

“If those are your honest feelings, I can always do you a favor and exterminate you. I’ll just assume that I’ve never had a son,” Yegor said in a frigid tone.

Truett lifted his gaze. “Dad…”

“Donʼt call me that.” Yegor furrowed his brows. “My son is not a coward like you.”

He grabbed Truett by the collar and pulled him up.

“A peerless fighter? The son that I take pride in?” Yegor repeated those words. “Isnʼt that just an illusion you’ve persuaded yourself to believe in?

“When it comes to mastering the Genesis Power, no one would dare claim that they are matchless or unbeatable. Even Franciscus, who had made a name for himself across the various Genesis Worlds, would not say something like that.”

Truett was momentarily stunned as he listened to his father’s words.

“Do you know why you’ve failed?” Yegor asked, “It’s because of that blind confidence and arrogance of yours!
