The others stared with scorn at James. Their following comments dripped with mockery and sarcasm.

“Even if he has the Ultimate Golden Body, a Yuraeceon Daelm Rankʼs Eighth Tribulation cultivator like him canʼt possibly defeat us.”

“I promise to spare your life if you are willing to hand over the powers of the Ultimate Golden Body and all the divine tools. How does that sound?”

“All the Genesis Worlds can benefit if you just hand over the divine tools to us.”

“Why bother reasoning with him? We can just work together and kill him. The first person gets the Ultimate Golden Body.”

James and Dark Thea exchanged a knowing glance and smiled faintly as they listened to those cultivators arguing amongst themselves for the divine tools and the Ultimate Golden Body.

James said in a low voice, “What are the cultivation ranks of those three cultivators you’ve captured?”

“They are all on the Quasi Daelcon Rank.” Dark Thea looked at James. “Why? Do you want those three?”

“How about you let me absorb their powers?” James grinned. “I’ll give you a divine tool in exchange.”

“One only? You’re stingy.” Dark Thea shook her head. “I want at least five.”

“Do you know how to use them?” James arched his brow.

Dark Thea snorted. “I’m sure I can learn how to use one very quickly. That includes transcendent divine tools!”

James directed his gaze to the cultivators surrounding them. Those men were still bickering with each other.

“I’ll pass you a transcendent divine tool. You need to help distract these men and buy me time.”

“What are you planning to do?” There was a hint of uncertainty in Dark Theaʼs voice.

“Just do as I say if you trust me. We can both get out of here that way,” James said flatly.

Dark Thea gave a slight nod upon hearing those words.

James produced a transcendent divine tool that was emanating lights of ten colors the next instant. He raised his arms and swung the sword heavily at the seals trapping Dark Thea.

With a loud boom, the seals around Dark Thea were destroyed. She swiftly grabbed onto the transcendent divine tool passed to her and shot up into the sky.

The cultivators were in a state of shock as they saw what happened.
