The Almighty Dragon General novel Chapter 6873

James heaved a deep breath and looked up to the sky.

He knew Thea better than anyone else in the world. Her biggest concern was not about something measly like him not wanting to do this.

Instead, she was probably afraid of losing her current self after fusing with the Light Heavenly Path to become the Yin governor.

Whether it was her or the Light Heavenly Path, they were both forced to go through reincarnation.

Their emotions and desires were removed. They experienced various things while eventually becoming the Heavenly Paths again.

No one could tell what would happen if they were to fuse two people with different hearts and minds to make one again.

Moreover, the Yin governor was born an Alcide being.

According to Emperor Yardenʼs theories, the returned Yin governor would lose all her past consciousness.

In that case, James might lose Thea for good once she became the Yin governor.

It was the outcome both James and Thea feared the most.

Thea sighed. “It’s a little too early for us to decide on this matter. We have to take care of bigger threats first anyway.

“Most importantly, I havenʼt had enough fun torturing that wench.”

She directed her gaze at James. “Do we stop here and return to base to prepare for our next battle?”

James smiled. “It was Wesleyʼs idea. He was really adamant about it.”

“We can put our trust in Wesley,” Thea responded, “Now that we have that wench, we have control over all realms and the heavens in and below the Thirty-Third Heaven.

“We should start on some necessary arrangements.”

Jamesʼ smile broadened. “I’m counting on you for that part. I’m completely clueless.”

Thea looked absolutely dumbfounded. “Only living beings who possess the Innate Energy can use the Xyloria Tai Chi Pearl. I only possess the Hyram.”

James paused awkwardly. “Uh… Well, we can…”

“Well, I donʼt want to have more kids.” Thea interrupted, “However, I do miss our children.”

James nodded vigorously. “Jacopo, Xainte, Noel, and Winnie werenʼt taken here.

James sighed wearily. He swung the Jozo Sword and broke the ball of sacred radiation.

As soon as he was released, Morgottʼs spirit expanded to his normal size and landed on his feet.

James gazed at him and asked, “Was it worth it?”

“What?” Morgott scanned his body to check if he was missing a limb.

“You and I donʼt really know each other. Technically, we are even enemies.” James asked, “So, why did you do those things that put yourself at risk?”

Morgott lifted his head and met James’ gaze. “Well, I want to become friends with you.”

James smiled wryly. “Were you not worried that I might decide to discard you after using your help?”

“Have you done anything like that before?” Morgott asked.

James fell silent.

In a way, Morgott was right. James had never betrayed those who helped him no matter how simple the favor was.
