James was stunned by Frona’s words. ‘I temporarily lost her? Was she also captured?’
Frona looked at James and answered, “We encountered Xanthakos on our way here. Light Thea and your other pet fell into his hands.”
James was shocked by the news. He turned around abruptly, his face filled with hostility.
Faced with James’ gaze, Frona lowered her head in shame and replied, “We couldn’t save her. Your second body was already seriously injured after shuttling back and forth through the Xyrisia Gate. It was a miracle she escaped from Xanthakos’ hands...”
“Enough,” James raised his hand and interrupted, then took a deep breath.
James did not blame Frona. Instead, he felt it was his fault for being so naive. He thought everything was under his control but ended up as someone else’s pawn. He paved the path for them, and even his wife got caught up in their scheme.
Frona sighed and sat down cross-legged, unsure of what advice to give James. After all, only he could make the decision.
After a long silence, James looked at Frona. “So, to save my wife, I must kill Xanthakos first.”
Frona warned, “Xanthakos is probably as powerful as you now that he has gained the support of three of the Nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness. They have given him a boost in power.”
Shocked, James thought to himself, ‘Could it be the Nine Caeloros Gods of Nothingness are having an internal conflict? Their leader, Frona, is on my side. However, her subordinates sided with Xanthakos.’
“I can’t provide much help to you with the Haleth Realms’ affairs,” Frona said as she waved her hand to summon a glowing scroll.

Popups and ads… I don’t mind. But when the images with part of the story won’t load, then we have a problem....
How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....
Thea is always f@#king crying, she never listens to James and she is week as f@#k.She believes every thing her family says looking for approval....

James always behind in cultivation then always lost in the battle.what the heck is this story about i hate reading it.ill stop reading it now.nothing is good about the story.always failed to protect the love one's specially his wife.the story become boring when he wants to cultivate when he cultivate only at the low level.he did not attain the same level of his opponent.the story say even he mate a cultivator in the upper level he cal destroy it and when the battle begins he lose.Watafak is this.dont ready this novel...
