The Almighty Dragon General novel Chapter 7349

“The Xurraeus Chessboard is impressive. From now on, it’s mine, including you.”

As he spoke, he waved his hand. The vast starry sky rippled, and the scene shifted. He and Mordecai appeared in the main hall. With a flash of light, the dazzling chessboard in the void instantly fell into his hands.

“No, it can’t be.” Mordecai panicked. “That’s mine. How can you...”

“Yours?” James handed the chessboard to Mordecai. “Call it and see if it responds to you.”

Mordecai’s face twitched. He hurriedly performed a spell, emitting an eerie light that struck the chessboard, but there was no reaction.

“This is impossible. This isn’t real!” Mordecai shouted desperately. “My Xurraeus Chessboard can’t be controlled by you. This must be an illusion.”

Watching the nearly hysterical Mordecai, Taiyi, Emperor Tapia, and Dillon exchanged glances and revealed strange expressions.

“Sir Mordecai, you only knew that the Xurraeus Chessboard was under your control,” James said slowly. “However, you never considered where it came from.”

Mordecai looked up in shock.

“The Xurraeus Chessboard was created by the Caeloros God of Garuda when he evolved you,” James said deliberately. “The most powerful aspect of this chessboard isn’t the Three Dragons Chess Game you were manipulating, but the Garuda Technique.

“With your strength, you could only control the Three Dragons Chess Game. So, when I broke the game, the Xurraeus Chessboard was no longer under your control.”

“When will we head to Waitara Path’s main dojo?” Dillon asked.

“Soon.” James narrowed his eyes into slits. “Once I’ve fused these treasures and you all have the strength for the final battle.”

Hearing this, the gods opened their mouths but held back their words.

“If you’re growing impatient, the Three Caeloros Gods must be even more so,” James said with a smile. “However, we have two guests to welcome before that.”

The gods were puzzled about the guests, but they decided not to disturb James and dispersed, watching as he sat cross-legged in the void.
