Maxine’s face darkened. Just as she was about to react, Xatia quickly stopped her.
Rubella interjected, “Go ahead, but make sure you give a proper explanation.”
Yadira said confidently, “There’s nothing to explain. The Doom Army’s mission is to maintain the Jademora Empire and uphold Emperor Caden's principles. Those who defy the rules will face the wrath of the Doom Army and be wiped out without mercy.”
Yadira pointed at Thora. “The New Shahrzad Dynasty refused to participate in the empire’s Wyrth Selection and challenged the empire's principle that no one can be obstructed from participating. It was reasonable for us to send troops to eradicate them.”
Her words caused an uproar.
Thora cried out anxiously, “That’s not true!”
Yadira interrupted angrily. “What’s not true? The Jorvath War King, Adair, personally arranged the Wyrth Selection. You can ask him about it. The other realms participated in the selection, except for the New Shahrzad Dynasty. Why is that?”
“It’s not like that…” Thora tried to explain, but Rubella interrupted her.

How can you write a novel this bad, I'm pissed of reading all the mistakes with the main characters. Try reading the charismatic Charlie ward. It's along the same plot but a much better read....
