“You all are nothing special. Your good days are numbered. The end is near. If you repent now, you might escape this catastrophe. If you persist, you will face a gruesome death, and your soul will be obliterated.”
As the impostor raged in frustration, the mysterious woman slowly removed her veil, revealing a face of breathtaking beauty. It was none other than Lesia. At that moment, she was no longer Frona’s Soremsia, but an individual entity.
The impostor’s eyes widened, momentarily transfixed by her unparalleled beauty beneath the veil. He had not anticipated such a mesmerizing woman to exist in the Greater Realms. With such a presence, she could easily outshine and outmatch any woman, including Maxine, whom he held captive.
“You may wonder why our empire’s ancestors of the Greater Realms haven’t intervened yet despite your arrogant behavior,” Lesia continued with a hint of amusement, her hands clasped behind her back. “Even after Skynet’s destruction and the fall of the Celestial Sages, the Greater Historial Land remained silent.”
She smiled slightly. “It’s because you’re unaware of the Great Historial Land’s existence, and that I’ve been waiting for you! It’s a pity you’re so foolish. Though you’ve managed to imitate my master’s appearance and knowledge, you’ve failed to grasp his true character. Had he returned to the Greater Realms, even if he stayed hidden, he would have notified the Great Historial Land because it’s the cornerstone of the Greater Realms.”
Lesia glanced disdainfully at the impostor and said, “But you, on the other hand, only sought to seize control of the Greater Realms and then confront our ancestors. To my surprise, you couldn’t even fool these experienced officials.”
The impostor tightened his grip on Maxine’s neck, seething with anger. “If you’re so clever, why didn’t you expose me sooner? Why wait until now?”
Lesia shrugged. “We enjoyed watching your little drama unfold. Despite your lack of intelligence and ineptitude, you’ve been quite entertaining.”
“Very well!” the impostor snarled through gritted teeth. “Let me tell you the truth. You can’t trap me. All the powerhouses above the Fifth Xaeclon Rank in the Greater Realms obey my command. Even if you know the truth, what can you do? How many will believe that I’m not James?”
