Scarlett did not linger any longer and left after James dismissed her.

After she left, James stood up.

Maxine asked, “Are you going to Sovereign Antique Shop?

James looked at Maxine. ‘This woman is incredible. She can immediately guess what’s on my mind,’ he thought.

Maxine stood up and said with a smile, “Sovereign Antique Shop is the only clue we have right now, so it wasn’t hard for me to know.”

James nodded and said, “Yeah. I plan to head over and investigate a little. The ancient chest that contained the ancient scroll was stored in Sovereign Antique Shop. Maxine observed the office surroundings and said with a frown, “Could it be that he knew some inside information and was silenced?”
