The Almighty Lord Caspian novel Chapter 443

In Starsphere Media, Willow asked with some confusion, "Hubby, will Gunnar really come and hand over the market data to us?"

Caspian told her directly that the director of the research center would come to deliver the materials.

Willow naturally found it hard to believe.

Gunnar avoided her when she went to the research center the last time. How could he suddenly agree to come and deliver the data?

"Honey, it seems like you don't believe me. How about we make a bet? If I win, you'll agree to a condition of mine."

Caspian suddenly smiled maliciously.

Willow gritted her teeth and said, "Okay. I don't believe Gunnar will hand over the market data."

"It's a deal, then," Caspian said with a grin.

As soon as they finished speaking, Keller walked in and respectfully said, "Mr. Lynch, there's a person named Gunnar Porter outside who asked to meet Ms. Stewart."

Willow was stunned. Gunnar actually came? Caspian was right.

Would Caspian come up with some strange requests again?

Willow suddenly felt uneasy. She was about to speak when Caspian spoke first.

"Tell him that Ms. Stewart is busy and he should wait patiently."

At this, Willow was puzzled.

Gunnar came willingly, and Caspian actually refused to see him.

"Gunnar ignored us at the research center before. Since he dares to upset my wife, I need to let him suffer a bit." Caspian looked at Willow and smiled.

A warm feeling surged in Willow's heart. It turned out Caspian wanted to teach Gunnar a lesson for her.

"Don't worry. He'll definitely wait," Caspian said confidently.

If Gunnar dared to leave now, he would be dead. He would wait if he were to have any ounce of self-awareness.

Willow didn't know why, and she didn't ask.

Gunnar felt extremely nervous as he stood outside.

"Will Ms. Stewart see me?" He squeezed out an awkward smile as he approached Keller.

In the past, he wouldn't have cared about Keller at all. But now, he could only lower himself.

"Sorry, Ms. Stewart is busy. You can wait or leave now," Keller said coldly.

"No! Please, tell her I'll be waiting here," Gunnar pleaded anxiously with a pale face.

"Alright, then," Keller said before turning away.

Gunnar felt extremely anxious.

It seemed he had offended Caspian.

If Willow refused to see him, he would be in big trouble.

Gunnar gritted his teeth and kneeled directly. Even though he was in public, he could no longer care about his dignity. Survival came first.

People from Starsphere Media were puzzled. Why was this person kneeling outside the company?

After more than an hour, Caspian and Willow walked out together.

"Isn't this the mighty director of Easton Research Center? What are you doing here?" Caspian looked at Gunnar and smiled.

"I'm not mighty. I'm not." Gunnar looked panicked.

He knew Caspian was Willow's husband, and he dared not disrespect Caspian.

Willow looked at Caspian in disbelief.

"All the market data for Diatoran in this quarter is here." Gunnar cautiously took out a USB from his pocket.

Caspian took it and waved his hand, saying, "Alright, you can leave. You're not needed anymore."

He didn't bother with Gunnar and left with Willow.

"Please leave. Kneeling here will affect our business," Keller said disdainfully.
