Chapter Fifty Seven–1
After taking a shower, I sat at the edge of my bed, gingerly touching my sore ribs when a knock came at my door, I frowned. “Who is it?*
“It’s me,” Austin’s voice said. “Let me in.”
I hesitated but eventually opened the door. Austin stepped inside, holding a small jar of balm. “Thought you might need this.”
I blinked at him. “You didn’t have to.”
“Sit.”
I obeyed as Austin knelt in front of me, opening the jar and scooping some of the cool salve onto his fingers. His touch was gentle as he spread the balm over my bruises, his brows furrowed in concentration.
I watched him quietly, my heart softening as I noticed the care in his every movement. Alex and Austin were mirror twins–so identical that even their closest friends, Isaiah and Elijah, sometimes confused them. But I never did. I could always tell them apart, no matter how similar they appeared.
Austin’s hand began to lift my shirt, and I immediately slapped it away. “Relax,” he said with a playful smile. “It’s not like I want to see your boobs.” He rolled his eyes before adding with a smirk, “Okay, I’m lying. I do want to see them. But that’s not why I’m here. I noticed she hit you in the ribs.” His voice softened, and I hesitated for a moment before letting him proceed.
Gently, he applied a cool salve just below my breasts. The soothing touch eased the ache in my ribs, but the coolness against my skin made my nipples harden involuntarily. His fingers brushed along the crease of my breast, lingering slightly longer than necessary. He knew the effect he had on me–I could see it in his eyes, the way they darkened with something deeper.
Austin moved closer, and my breath caught as his lips brushed against my skin. Before I could stop him, his mouth wrapped around my breast, and a soft gasp escaped me. “Austin,” I murmured, gently pushing him away. His mouth left my breast with an audible pop, his gaze meeting mine unapologetically.
“I couldn’t help it,” he admitted, his voice thick with desire. Before could respond, he cupped my face and kissed me deeply, his lips crashing into mine with an urgency that sent my heart racing. I surrendered to the kiss, pulling him closer as the world around us faded.
As the kiss deepened, Austin guided me backward until I was lying down, his body hovering above mine. But when he leaned on my aching ribs, a sharp pain made me cry out. “Ouch!” I exclaimed, wincing. He quickly sat up, concern flashing across his face.
“Are you okay?” he asked, his hands gently brushing my hair back from my face.
“I’m fine,” I murmured. “Thank you,.. for the salve.”
Austin’s lips curved into a teasing smile. “It’s nothing. My mom gave it to me after you kneed me in the gonads for kissing you, remember?” he joked, pulling me onto his lap.
The memory made me chuckle, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment. “We were working on an assignment, and you and Alex cornered me,” I said, shaking my head.
His expression grew serious. “Don’t let what Lynne said get to you. You’re the strongest among us, Stormi,” he said softly before capturing my lips in another kiss. This time, it was slow and deliberate, every movement filled with emot
When we finally pulled apart, Austin rested his forehead against mine, his breath uneven. “You’re something else, Stormi,” he whispered, his voice laced with both admiration and longing,
I smiled faintly, my fingers still resting against his jaw. “You’re not so bad yourself.”

Austin chuckled wetly, pressing a kiss to my forehead betere geding but we stayed like that for after tucking me into bed.
“Get some sleep, okay?”
I watched him stand and head for the door, my chest feeling a little lighter than before.
*Goodnight, Austin.*
“Goodnight, Stormi.*
But I couldn’t sleep after he left i lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling Frustration boiled in my veins, it was like Lynne was out to beat me to the ground. But I wasn’t going to let her many people were counting on me and there was a lot at stake. The words of the day played in my mind–I wasn’t going to let Commander Lynne’s scorn and Anna’s biting remarks discourage me.

The Omega: Mated To The Four
Chapter Fifty Seven–2
My mates believed in me. Mariah had believed in me.
It’s time to believe in yourself, my wolf whispered.
I sat up, my decision made. I wouldn’t let anyone hold me back–not Commander Lynne, not Anna, and not even my own doubts.
Slipping out of bed, I dressed quickly and headed for the training area, determination burning in my veins. If I had to face Anna again, I would be ready.
The arena was silent when I stepped through its massive double doors. The torches that lined the walls burned low, casting long shadows across the worn ground. A chill hung in the air, making me shiver as I descended the stone steps.
My footsteps echoed in the vast space, amplifying the solitude. The empty training ring loomed before her, a constant reminder of the humiliation I’d suffered earlier that day. I clenched my fists, my bruised knuckles still sore.
Thinking about Commander Lynne’s words stung like salt in an open wound. I exhaled sharply, shaking off the memory.
I can do this, I thought fiercely. I have to.
My wolf stirred, growling softly in my mind. We will not be weak again.
I stood there in just a fitted tank top and shorts. The cold air bit at my skin, but I welcomed it–it kept me focused. Without
hesitation, I stepped into the ring and fell into the basic stance I saw my mates take before their fights.
I started slow, running through the motions of a fight. Punch, step, block. Duck, counter, kick. Trying my best to imitate Elijah, Isaiah, Alex, Austin, and Anna. My body was stiff at first, every muscle aching from the day’s punishment.
But I didn’t stop.
Left jab. Right cross.
My breathing became heavy my body still aching from the beating I got early, my movements sharper with each strike I threw. I imagined Anna in front of me, taunting me with that smug grin. I imagined the shield keeping my mates out, forcing me to fight alone. The thought spurred me on, my wolf snarling with approval.
I’ll show them, I thought. I’ll show all of them that I can do this.
The sudden creak of the double doors jolted me from my focus. I froze mid–punch, my chest rising and falling rapidly as I turned toward the sound.
Isaiah stood at the entrance, arms crossed and leaning casually against the doorframe. Even in the dim light, his sharp features were unmistakable. His dark eyes scanned me, lingering on the bruises marking my skin.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, his voice a low rumble.
I frowned, wiping sweat from my brow. “What does it look like?”
Isaiah walked toward me, his shoes scuffing against the dirt. Isaiah stopped at the edge of the ring, study hurt yourself you are in no shape to fight right now.”
“I’m already hurt,” I shot back, my voice tight. “Does it really matter if I add a little more to it?”
e carefully. “You’ll
The words hung in the air between us, and for a moment, Isaiah said nothing. Then, without warning, he stepped into the ring.

“What are you doing?” I demanded.
Isaiah cracked his knuckles, his grin sharp and wolfish. “If you’re going to train, you might as well do it right. Come on.”
I hesitated, my fists still clenched. “You’re going to teach me”
Isaiah’s grin widened. “Yes”
He moved into a loose stance, his movements fluid and confident. “Lesson one: Stop fighting like you’re smaller than everyone else. You’re stronger than you realize.”
My heart thudded as I reluctantly mirrored his stance. “I’m not stronger than Anna.”
Isaiah’s eyes hardened. “That’s because you keep letting her win–up here.” He tapped his temple. “Get your head right, Stormi.”
I exhaled sharply. “Fine. Let’s go. Let’s do this.”

Isaiah didn’t go easy on me. Before I realized it I was on the ground. He laughed and gave me his Then grinned mischievously. “Let’s make it interesting. A bet.”
“What kind of bet?”
“If I win, we shower together.”
Stormi gaped at him. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
I narrowed my eyes, trying to ignore the way my stomach fluttered. “Not happening.”
“Afraid you’ll lose?” he taunted.
“Of course not“, I said, and before I could react he attacked. He moved with calculated precision, forcing me to react quickly. “Use your wolf let her guide you.” Every time I hesitated or faltered, he corrected me sharply. “Faster. You’re telegraphing your punches. Don’t let me see them coming.”

Chapter Fifty Seven–3
My muscles screamed in protest, but I pushed through, my wolf snarling in my mind. Isaiah wasn’t like Commander Lynne–he wasn’t harsh, but he didn’t hold back either. He made me work.
“Use my weight against me,” Isaiah said, circling me like a predator You’re smaller, so don’t meet me head–on. Redirect my
momentum.”
I gritted my teeth as Isaiah lunged at me, aiming to grab my arm. This time, I remembered his advice. Instead of resisting, I shifted my weight and twisted, using his force to throw him off balance.
Isaiah stumbled, catching himself just before he hit the ground. He looked up at me, a crooked grin splitting his face. “Now that’s what I’m talking about.”
A small spark of pride flared in my chest, but it was short–lived. Isaiah was on his feet again in seconds, lunging faster than before. This time, he caught my wrists and pinned me to the ring floor.
“Too slow,” he said, smirking.
I squirmed beneath him, my breath coming in heavy pants. “You’re heavier than you look.”
Isaiah chuckled. “You say that like it’s my fault.”
His face hovered close to mine, the teasing grin softening into something quieter. My heart skipped a beat as I realized how close we were. His hands held my wrists firmly above my head, his body flush against hers as he positioned himself between my legs.
