Cane’s POV.
==========================
’I hope we can meet sooner, so we can stay longer and be in love for the rest of our lives. It has to be a long life to make up what we have lost.’
That dream came again...
There was this girl with blue eyes and curly auburn hair that smiled at him. She would kiss the tip of his nose and told him to wait for her.
Every time this dream came, he would feel this longing feeling. As if, he had been waiting for her and believed what she said. He couldn’t help, but looking forward to the day he finally met with her.
He remembered her voice and her scent, down to the way she touched him. It was surreal. His dream felt very real.
Cane would always wake up with this sadness and longing in his heart. He would stare at the ceiling for a very long time. He felt so old, even though he was only twenty one years old, as if he had gone through a whole lifetime.
He didn’t know why he felt this way, especially when it came to that woman with blue eyes.
"Spacing out again?" his little brother chuckled when he saw his brother was sitting behind the wheel and didn’t even realize he had entered the car, while his twin sister sat on the backseat. "We will be late."
Cane said nothing and started the engine. He had to take his twin siblings to their school, before he drove to his university.
Their parents were away for two weeks, thus he was responsible for these two brats, who kept giving him a headache.
"Be good at school." Cane ruffled his little brother’s hair and he growled. "Stop growling at me, you are not a wolf."
Meanwhile, his little sister was a sweet child, she kissed Cane’s cheek and went out of the car to catch up with her twin.
Cane waved his hand and drove away after he made sure his siblings entered the school building.
In the parking lot, Cane got a message from his friend, telling him that he was going to be late if he didn’t come now, since their lecturer moved their class.
Cane said nothing and pocketed his phone again. He was already here, there was no way he was going to be late.
But, he was completely wrong, because there was something that caught his attention.
Even from young age, he was always very mature. His parents had never had a problem to raise him, they even joked that Cane raised himself, since he was a perfect child.
Cane had never caused trouble even in his teenage years, where all of his peers would be in one or two problems. He was also a good brother and example for his sibling.
Therefore, how could he skip his class to chase after a glimpse of a woman?
This was an important class for him, since there would be an exam in this particular subject, but then it still didn’t stop him from chasing after her shadow.
He didn’t know why, but there was something inside him that told him to go and find her.
Cane was running at the corridor, ignoring people, who greeted her and the women, who tried to strike a conversation with him.
After all, he was very popular, no matter where he was. There was something in him that drew people to get close to him.
However, after he looked around the buildings for an hour and his phone kept buzzing, as his friends kept texting him, asking about his whereabouts, he still couldn’t find her.
"Have you seen an auburn girl walked here?" out of his frustration, he asked a random guy there, but it was the girl nearby, who replied to him.
"Oh, do you mean Luna?" She asked.
"Luna?"
"You don’t know her name?" She was surprised, but Cane wanted to see this girl right away.
"Where is she?"
"I will take you to her." The girl was more than willing to help Cane, if it meant she got a few minutes to talk and walk by his side.
"There! That’s Luna, may I know why..." The woman’s face turned sour when she saw Cane immediately approached her.
Cane could feel his heart was beating, as he approached the girl with auburn hair, she had her back against him, thus he couldn’t see her face.
And without a second thought, he grabbed her shoulder and turned her around.
At first, the woman wanted to curse, but when she saw it was Cane, she blushed instead. She looked shy and tried to appear sweet. She sheepishly stared at him. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
However, those eyes were not the exact eyes that he was looking for. He didn’t know why there was this strong disappointment that washed over his body, as he walked away, distraught.
Yet, only a few step away, there was this familiar voice that he kept hearing in his dream.
"Found you!"
