Chapter 122
It was 2am when I woke up to find Titus by the window looking out at the crescent moon.
The stunning figure of the man who is my fated mate is handsome and it’s no wonder everyone who looks at him wants to have him.
However, this time I noticed something in his gaze, an emptiness…
Why does he look like that?
“Titus?” I called out softly and he instantly jerked before looking back at
Smiling a little he walked over to my bed to give me a light peck on the forehead “Hey, did I wake you up?” He asked softly.
I shook my head “No… What are you doing there?” I asked softly addressing him who was staring at the moon from the window seriously. He looked back at the moon “I don’t know… it seems a bit lonely over there” He replied confusingly.
I should have gotten suspicious and told Melissa straight away, I never thought anything bad would happen to us.
Things that I never thought that crazy woman named Wendy could do.

The head nurse, Maria, smiled at my blood test results, we’d been here for two months and still hadn’t found any clues and Destine was getting restless.
‘We need to get moving‘ she`ordered and this time I agreed with my white–wolf.
We can no longer pretend and linger here, we have to catch Doctor Wendy, with or without those dangerous potions and drugs she made.
I quickly grabbed my cell phone and informed the group chat about speeding up the plan.
My father, Alpha Blake agreed, all this time he was outside the hospital perimeter, just in case we needed help.
As I was still typing on my phone, Wendy’s body odor wafted in and 1 minute later the female doctor entered the room accompanied by Titus.
“Hello” she said with a smile, but I was still staring at my fated mate who

“What’s going on? Titus? What’s wrong with you?” I asked quickly and was followed by Alexa, Jose and Kurt entering my room while staring at their strange–looking king.
And our eyes widened as Titus‘ cell phone was in Wendy’s hands and she easily opened the cell phone and read the group chat that we had been sharing.
What happened? I thought confused.
Titus should have realized that I’m his mate, why is he acting strangely like that?
He’s like Wendy’s guard dog?!
“Titus!!! Titus wake up!” I called his name again but it only made the female doctor laugh out loud.
Oh God, what did she do to you?!
“What did you do to him!!!” I asked the female doctor in annoyance and gasped in shock at the growl coming out of my mate’s mouth.
Immediately all my guards stood in front of me as they heard the threatening growl from their king, knowing immediately that he was not in his right mind.
No…. Titus!!!
Then, it wasn’t long before the nurses arrived and stood behind Wendy, staring at us with sharp eyes and horrible grins.
“Damn, this is not good” Kurt cursed and immediately took a defensive position in case anyone came up to us and tried to attack.
However, my eyes were only glued to the figure of the man who
continued to stand beside the female doctor, he shouldn’t be there, he should be beside me, not with her.
Heartbroken, my eyes widened as all the nurses growled menacingly and ran together towards us.
“Oh, Sh*t!!!!”
Quickly Alexa grabbed me and Kurt broke the window before we jumped from there to the ground.
“No” I said frantically because I didn’t want to leave, not without Titus, not without my mate “Titus!!!! TITUS!!!” I called out my mate’s name as Alexa continued to hold me and we all ran fast away from that cursed

hospital without someone who was supposed to be my protector, someone who was the most important in my life, who I knew would never let me down or even leave me,
“TITUNGUUUSSSS” I screamed, hoping he’d be behind me and answer with his trademark smile that only he gave me, then say that everything was just a pretense.
Yes, he was just pretending, he couldn’t possibly leave me.
Right?
I knew that this was one of our plans, a plan to trick that woman.
Yes, everything is just a scheme…
However, when I saw Alpha Blake standing at the end of the territory perimeter waiting for me, I couldn’t help but shed a tear because I knew that none of this was a ploy.
The worried look my father showed me was like an answer that none of this was a plot.
That the Alpha king, my fated mate had truly lost his identity and mind… That I failed to keep the man I loved so much by my side.
Fool!!!
You’re so stupid, Gwen….!!!
