Chapter 145
Heading to Gwen Point of View:
That night I couldn’t sleep..
The heat and also the thing I couldn’t talk about seemed to disturb my mind and make me restless.
What was wrong with me anyway?
‘What’s wrong?‘ Destine, who seemed to have noticed my restlessness, asked and I sat down on my bed before standing up to get some water from the table in front of the sofa, one of the extras provided at my mate’s request, because she realized that I was often thirsty and hungry in the middle of the night.
Badump…
My heart was racing tonight, as if something was going to happen.
What’s going on?
Why am I feeling like this? I sighed after finishing one glass of water quickly before setting the glass back on the table.
‘This reaction is from your fetus, Gwen‘ Destine responds in my head and she sounds confused, just like me.
Huh… What did she say?
My fetus? Did I hear clearly what she said?
‘My fetus, Destine? What’s wrong with my fetus? It must not have formed yet because it’s only the fourth month?‘ I said in response
to her worried words.
Destine seemed to sigh and shake her head, because she was uncertain.
“Try touching your stomach, your heart is racing and you feel like vomiting, that effect is not from you, but from your fetus‘
I followed my wolf’s orders and realized that she was right.
What’s wrong with my fetus?
Why is it reacting like this?
What’s going on?
I walked over to the window and saw Harry and Jose with the other warriors running towards the forest and immediately turning into their wolves as they ran.
‘They look panicked‘ Destine commented and I again agreed with her words.
What’s going on here?
It’s been a long time since there was a threat from Rogue since Jack died, so what is this?
‘That’s Titus‘ Destine pointed at the man coming out of the main door and looked at the Betas and the others who were leaving for the forest.
He looked worried…
What’s going on?
Not long after, as if knowing I was staring at him, my mate cocked his head and stared into my eyes for a few seconds before
he turned around and spoke to someone beside him.
‘He looks worried‘ Destine commented and I nodded my head.
It seemed like something coming into the forest was something to worry about.
What is this?
Should we be worried, Destine? I asked my wolf who became the most loyal friend in my b*dy, someone I always made a place to rely on and a place to tell everything, because she is always calm and never rushes to make decisions about sómething, maybe because she was once a wolf of the Moon Goddess so that her character and behavior are different, I learned a lot from her and she was very patient in helping me with anything.
‘Let’s just wait, our mate is currently doing everything to make sure we are okay, let’s wait until everything unfolds on its own‘ I listened carefully to my wolf’s recommendation.
She was right, Titus was currently on edge, he was worried about my pregnancy and it seemed that the things that happened in the forest were being made sure not to disturb me.
We’ll see, hopefully it’s nothing, hopefully my feelings are also nothing…
However, I sensed that my wolf was hiding something, it seemed that she knew something but didn’t want to tell me.
This is the same as what happened the other day, when I was exposed to that poison…
‘You’ll tell me when you’re sure it’s true, won’t you, Destine?‘ I ventured to say to my wolf who was laughing inside my head.
‘You’re getting to know me well, Gwen‘ She said calmly and assured me that what I was thinking was true, that she was hiding something.
Lightning flashed before our eyes so many times that it startled me, as if the sky was struggling up there.
However, why is there lightning and no rain? I thought strangely and closed the window curtains so as not to see the terrible lightning strikes again.
Tonight was the strangest night ever and I slowly climbed into my bed to try and get some rest.

‘Mama… Mama…
