"What happened? Cassie?" Nick couldn't help but ask her. He reminded himself to be patient with her. However, as a handsome young man in his twenties, it was hard for him to hold back, especially when the woman he loved was lying naked beside him. In his attempt to try and ease her mind, Nick held her in his arms and touched her all over, but Cassie pushed him away once more.
"Oh, Cassie, my darling! Please, hug me and relax in my arms. I've honestly missed you so much!" he murmured while grabbing her hand passionately, leading it all the way down there. "Can you feel it? It's missing you too!"
At that moment, Cassie's face turned blood-red. Suddenly her hand was sweaty, and she felt that it was so hot that she wasn't even able to breathe anymore.
'Where did this man learn to say such a thing? It's so embarrassing! Stop it!' she shouted in her head.
The next second, her heart sunk. She had a feeling that Nick had changed a lot over the past few days, which had her worried. He was no longer the young, innocent man she knew before, especially in bed. She wondered where he gained all of his experience from.
The more Cassie thought about the situation, the more upset she was. Once she grew suspicious, she couldn't help but let her mind wander. In fact, soon the ideas in her head would occupy her entire heart, and thus, Cassie was unable to even be close to Nick.
"I'd better go home now," she said firmly without thinking about her decision twice. Her face was as cold as an iceberg, and her body, stiff.
"No, wait! Not now!" Nick objected. He hurriedly took her hand and pressed it against his heart.
Cassie was shocked by the aggression in his voice. It made her want to get away from him as soon as possible.
"No, Nick. I'm serious!"
her voice grew colder.
At that moment, Nick was very confused. Since Cassie agreed to come to his place after dinner, he thought that she wanted to have sex with him. However, now he was placed in the middle, unable to advance or retreat. He could tell that she meant what she'd said, but had no clue as to why.
In the beginning of the evening, everything seemed quite fine. As the saying went, "A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets." Nick really didn't understand Cassie. He wondered whether all women changed their minds, just like they were turning a page in a book.
Thinking about her words and reaction, he felt forced to let her go. Nick was not the kind of man who would force Cassie to do what she didn't want to. He then stepped away from her.
The moment she could, Cassie got up immediately. She stood there, naked and looking for her clothes. Little did she know that she had underestimated her attractiveness and overestimated Nick's willpower. Staring at her, Nick felt the thing between his thigh's roots exploding, and couldn't take it anymore.
"Cassie, please…"
he shouted, getting worked up by what seemed like a dramatic act.
However, Cassie didn't sense, nor care about his manly misery. She cast him a quick glance and continued to put on her underwear.
Suddenly, Nick raised his long arms, grabbed her, threw her on the bed, got on the top of her and kissed her violently on the cheeks.
But, when he tasted her salty tears, he stopped immediately.
'Why? Why is she crying? Did I scare her? Oh, no!' he wondered.
The last thing he wanted to see was her tears.
Nick quickly got off her and stood up. "I'm so sorry! Please, forgive me. I didn't mean to hurt you, Cassie. It's just so hard to explain. Please know that I would never force you to do anything. If you don't feel like having sex with me, I'll leave you alone!" he apologized sincerely, regretting his passion getting the better of him.
He licked his lips and grabbed a robe to put on. It was hard for him to explain himself to her. Sometimes, sex was more important to men than women thought it was, and honestly, it was natural. It killed him to think that Cassie didn't want to make out with him.
He just couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth. If he did, she would think that sex was more important than she was to him. Even if it was the truth, she would run away from him if she knew. However, he was still a man.
"I'm leaving now," Cassie said and wiped off the tears from her face. She buttoned her top as she walked passed Nick and headed to the door.
